The 7th grade student of Xenion Highschool Kyriakos Attounis was distinguished in a Pancyprian Photography Competition.
The student from Sotira won the first commendation in the 3rd Pancyprian Photography Competition organized by the Cyprus Photographic Society.
The photos of the competition will take part in a relevant exhibition that will take place on April 5 in the "Kasteliotissa" Hall in Nicosia.

The photo was taken in 2014, with a Canon 600D Dslr camera, with a 50mm lens, f / 1.4. He was filmed in Washington DC during a scholarship won by Kyriakos through the US Embassy at George Washington University. As he describes himself, he took the photo on the subway, when the station, while crowded, was empty at that point and only an elderly man was in the shot.

Kyriakos, among others, is an amateur photographer, while he is the creator of the videos which were included in the student theatrical performance of Xenion Highschool, "Peace" by Aristophanes as well as the short film about the consequences of school bullying created by the school and which will participate in a global short film competition.
