Tourist couple from Wales and Swedish traveler named Ayia Napa Tourism Ambassadors
In a modest ceremony held on Friday, May 5, at the reception area of Ayia Napa City Hall, the Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Committee on Sports, Sports Facilities and e-Government Mr. Konstantinos Zannetou honored the couple Keith and Sian Smith from Wales, made 30 visits to Ayia Napa and Gunnel Bergstrom from Sweden, who from 1980 until today visited our tourist resort 50 times.
Awarding the commemorative plaques and the emblem of the Ambassador of Tourism of the city, Mr. Zannetou expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Mayor, the Members of the Municipal Council as well as his own for their repeated visits and for the practical love shown by all these years for Ayia Napa.
"Your appointment as Ambassador of Ayia Napa Tourism added Mr. Zannetou" we consider that it is the minimum honor for the Local Authority to express its satisfaction and gratitude to your persons for your special preference in our city ".
