A brutal femicide took place, at noon on Sunday, in Kypseli, with the victim being a woman from Bangladesh, who was stabbed to death by a compatriot.
The unfortunate woman came down from the apartment building in which she lived in the district of Athens and there the perpetrator had allegedly set up a carbine, which killed her in the middle of the street.
The alleged assailant, according to OPEN, threw his deadly weapon into an adjacent trash can and left the scene.
The woman's screams roused the neighborhood and there were eyewitnesses who saw the brutal crime unfold before their eyes.
The perpetrator was arrested
Following the descriptions of the eyewitnesses, the Police arrested the perpetrator, who claimed that he had financial disputes with the husband of the brutally murdered woman, with the husband maintaining, however, that there was no conflict with the alleged murderer of the unfortunate woman .
A preliminary investigation into the murder of the 36-year-old is being carried out by the Security Sub-Directorate.
