Journalist Vangelis Mavraganis died at the age of 63.

Vangelis Mavraganis lived in Piraeus and was in charge of communication of the University there as well as the Chamber Group for the Development of Greek Islands.
He was the director of the newspaper "Apogevmatini" while for a while he worked in the press office of the Region of Central Greece, during the tenure of Clearch Pergantas, as well as in the press office of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
