An alarm was sounded at the Fire Brigade shortly before 2 in the afternoon after a notification for a gas leak from the road in Pagrati and specifically at the junction of Pyrrou and Aineiou streets.
The Fire Brigade was notified at 13.50 at noon and 15 firefighters with 5 vehicles were immediately mobilized. According to the Fire Department, those who are within a radius of 50 meters have been ordered to leave the area, while the traffic on Filolaou Street from the height of Fryni Street and Iliados Street from the height of Fryni Street has been stopped.
The police, EYDAP and the gas company are also at the scene.
