The children in the 37th authentic marathon of Athens were the ones who managed to steal the impressions with their smiles.
Among them is the little Michalis Kantis, who suffers from spastic quadriplegia and traveled from Rhodes to participate in the marathon.
Little Michalis has long dreamed of finishing the marathon and traveled nine whole hours from the island of Rhodes to Syntagma, conveying to all the resounding message of hope, determination and optimism.
"Reach where you can not reach"
"Get where you can not" were the words of little Michalis on Star's camera, which he realized after reaching the finish line of the marathon, setting an example for everyone.
Next to him he always had his brother Fotis as well as his parents, who supported him in his endeavor as guardian angels.
