A serious work accident occurred this morning in Stalis, Hersonissos, where a man, about 45 years old, fell from a great height, while performing construction work in a hotel in the area, resulting in severe head injuries.
An EKAB ambulance rushed to the spot and transported the unfortunate worker to PAGNI, where despite the efforts of the doctors, he could not be kept alive.
According to what the Commander of PAGNI, George Chalkiadakis, told neakriti.gr, the 45-year-old arrived at the hospital with a particularly burdensome clinical picture, efforts were made for cardiopulmonary resuscitation for about 40 minutes, but unfortunately the 45-year-old ended up in a critical condition. .
The worker fell from a height of 5 meters while participating in work for the installation of scaffolding.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police of AT. Hersonissos.
