"I was shouting because you raped my child and he was mocking me. I was putting him in my house, helping him financially, and he ruined my child and our life." With these words, the 50-year-old who killed his brother-in-law and rapist of his 18-year-old daughter, outlined the character of his victim yesterday in his testimony. The 50-year-old man, who was temporarily released, "bent" yesterday alone at the Prosecutor's office and described the entire "nightmare" that began on January 7, when he was informed by his daughter's landlady that the rent for the apartment in the city where he studies had not been paid.

His daughter was at her sister's house in Volos and when, as a father, he asked for an explanation, he got no answers. He could not get through on the phone and went home to meet his two daughters.

In the conversation between father and daughter, it was revealed by the 18-year-old that the money had been taken from her by a person who had sexually abused and raped her in the past and now threatened her that if she did not give him money he would reveal to the family and to the whole world photos that he had in his possession and they depicted him and the young woman naked.

Without the 18-year-old having revealed to him the person who raped and blackmailed her, the 50-year-old supported his daughter and stood by her side. He didn't think for a moment about the closed social environment they lived in and asked her to file a lawsuit while asking her to see a psychologist.

He lost the ground under his feet and blamed himself for the fact that he had not realized what had happened and what his child had been experiencing for so many years. He became obsessed with finding out who had sexually abused and raped his daughter, according to his reports to court officials.
Last Tuesday morning, the 18-year-old finally revealed the identity of her rapist. "I supported him, I helped him financially, I put him in my house and he raped my child. Added to my heavy mental state was the feeling of betrayal." Unable to manage what was happening, he left Volos to return to Argalasti. There, he could not rest and wanted to ask his brother-in-law for an explanation. Knowing his violent past, he also took the rifle he legally owns with him, he is reported to have said. He didn't call the 33-year-old himself because they didn't have many contacts, but he had his wife call her brother and ask him to help him change the flat tire of the car near the entrance to Volos.

The 33-year-old parked his car on the opposite side of the road, crossed it and moved towards the 50-year-old who was on the opposite side of the road. "Why did you rape me and destroy my girl," the 50-year-old shouted at him when he saw him.

He, despite the fact that he apparently saw the gun held by his brother-in-law, not only did not give any explanation but instead smiled wryly and running, constantly changing directions, tried to attack him and snatch the gun from him, according to what he allegedly testified.

How does he describe the killer?

To defend himself, the 50-year-old hit the 33-year-old on the head and chest with the barrel of the gun and he fell down. But he stood up and attacked him again. Then they came to a fight. The 33-year-old - according to what was testified by the perpetrator who claimed that the weapon went off - tried to wrest the carbine from him and then it now appears that during the fight the trigger was pulled and he was fatally shot.

He returned to Volos, went to his daughter's house without revealing what had happened and from there he went to his lawyer's office, and I called the police to reveal what had happened. Then it was delivered…
