Today's Google doodle is dedicated to Greece, which celebrates the 199th anniversary of the Revolution of 1821.

Against the Ottoman Empire
Celebrating today's anniversary, Google decorated the doodle with the Greek flag waving on its web.

Today, March 25, the Greek nation celebrates the Revolution of 1821, the armed uprising of the Greek revolutionaries against the Ottoman Empire, with the aim of shaking off the Ottoman yoke and declaring an independent state.
