In a strange case, for which full answers have not yet been given, the 39-year-old partner of the 41-year-old Georgia is involved, who is accused of her brutal murder on New Year's Eve in Thessaloniki.
According to STAR, it is about the disappearance of the body of the child he had in 2009 with his then 17-year-old partner and who died of a hospital infection.
When the man and his partner were informed that the newborn had died, the couple blamed the public maternity hospital, claiming that the child had not died but that someone had disappeared to give it up for adoption.
After the complaint, a prosecutor had ordered that the child's grave be opened, but when the exhumation took place, the coffin was empty without an explanation of what happened to the body.
This was followed by a police and judicial investigation that was put on file as to the responsibilities of the maternity hospital, with one of the scenarios that had been circulated at the time, talking about attempts to claim compensation on behalf of the parents.
In 2013, they had even requested that the file be reopened as they believed that the infant was a victim of a baby trafficking ring, while they had also provided DNA to see if they had any connection with little Maria, the 4-year-old who was found in a Roma camp and it was revealed that he is not the biological child of the family he lived with.
The ex-wife of his 39-year-old partner Georgia, however, claims today that he is not related to the disappearance case, saying, among other things, that "if he was involved I would not have had two children with him, but I would have left."
