Tragedy in Greece - 25-year-old police officer killed in a car accident

The 25-year-old was stopped with her car at the traffic light when a vehicle fell on her at high speed - The car caught fire and the unfortunate police officer was trapped and charred

Just 25 years old was the unfortunate police officer, Aphrodite P., who lost her life in a car accident in Nea Ionia, at 5.30 in the morning.

The accident happened when the unfortunate policeman stopped her car at the traffic light, at the intersection of Kymi Avenue, with Kastamonis, moving towards Galatsi. Then another vehicle, driven by another 25-year-old, fell violently on the girl's stopped vehicle, causing it to catch fire and throw it meters away.

The unfortunate girl was trapped in her vehicle, as a result of which she was charred. 10 firefighters with 3 vehicles tried to free her. Immediately afterwards, she was transported by EKAB ambulance to the "Red Cross", where the doctors confirmed her death.

The beautiful girl, originally from Lefkada, was in the last year of the Police School since she was a probationary police officer who served at the Patision Police Station.

The 25-year-old young driver responsible for the accident got out of his car safe and was arrested by men from the Traffic Police, while his 19-year-old co-driver was slightly injured and was given first aid.
