Respect for his personal and family life is demanded by his brother Dimitris Lignadis, Giannis, through his statement, which was broadcast on ANT1.
Giannis Lignadis speaks of "lively interest of the Media" but asks journalists and TV crews not to harass him and members of his family.
"Realizing the lively interest of the media for the news that has been focused on my brother Dimitris Lignadis in recent weeks, and invoking the basic rights of privacy guaranteed by Greek law, I ask journalists and TV crews to respect my personal and family life and not to disturb it in any way, with visits to my home and workplace, my bedridden mother's home, with repeated calls to the phones of family members (including my minor daughter) and other burdensome activities.
