Unfortunately, once again the odds fell in and Cyprus did not get the ticket for the final of this year's competition in Malmo.
Despina Olimpiou, despite the fact that she made a decent appearance and her song had received positive comments, did not manage to enter the top ten. Let us not forget, of course, that Cyprus competed in the first semifinal where there were no so-called "alliances". The singer gave her best on the stage of Malmo, but certainly the disappointment of failure is great both for her and for her compatriots.
