There is no end to the tragedy of the great fire in Attica. According to information, ten other dead were located a few minutes ago in Mati. Specifically, four people were found in a burned car, while to the left of it, inside a house, another four and down on the hillside, two others were found dead.
The point is located about 100 meters from Marathonos Avenue. Of the bags for carrying the bodies, three are small, which means that, unfortunately, they are most likely children.
According to other information about the dead in the house, it is a mother with her two minor daughters, 5 and 6 years old, and the grandmother of the family, who left their house and ran to the forest to be saved, but did not succeed.
At the same place, in a car, a charred family has been found - parents and two children.
Another man was pulled out dead from a burnt car, outside the tavern on the Silver Coast, where 26 other people had been found dead earlier. According to information, there are still many who are looking for their own.
The fact that the dead have exceeded 60 was confirmed by the mayor of Rafina-Pikermi, Vangelis Bournous.
According to the APE-MPE, another body of a man was found in the sea area of Artemis. The victim was found floating in the water off Loutsa by a boat of the Greek Navy and has been transferred to the Rafina Port Authority for identification procedures. He will then be transferred to the Forensic Medicine Service, to determine the causes of his death.
Two other dead were also found in the area of Lykorema, in a car on Mazaraki Ioanni Street. These dead have not been recorded yet, while fears are expressed that the number is higher.
