The state lost total revenues of 88.031.141 euros for 2019 from the purchases from the occupied ones for petrol 95 and diesel, according to the observatory of retail prices of petrol 95, diesel and heating oil of the Cyprus Consumers Association.
The gas station owners from the markets from the occupied ones for 2019 lost revenues of 7.380.121 euros.
According to the Cyprus Consumers' Association, the percentage of purchases from the occupied ones for petrol 95 for 2017 was 3%, in 2018 it increased to 10,62% and in 2019 it increased to 18,51%.
The percentage of purchases from the holdings for Diesel for 2017 was 8%, in 2018 it increased to 13.07% and in 2019 it increased to 17.13%.
Moreover, according to the retail price observatory of the Cyprus Consumers' Association, the state collected taxes of 172.659.643 euros from 95 petrol and 147.695.540 euros from diesel.
Also, the state collected for VAT purposes 74.583.889 euros from gasoline 95 and from diesel 70.695.264 euros.
The state collected VAT from heating oil 9.996.333 euros and from taxes 5.705.807 euros.
In addition, the State collected in 2019 from taxes and VAT for gasoline 95, diesel and heating oil 481.336.200 euros.
The petrol stations received for petrol 95, diesel and for heating oil a gross profit margin of about 45.548.128 euros
Also, the Cyprus Consumers Association states that the average retail price of diesel in Cyprus for the year 2016 was 1,126 cents per liter and gasoline 95 1,145 cents per liter, ie the average price of diesel was 1,9 cents lower than the average price of petrol 95.
He adds that in 2019 diesel was 1,232 cents per liter and petrol 95 1,186 cents per liter, ie the average retail price of diesel rose to 4,6 cents per liter compared to the average price of 95 petrol.
