The economy in Turkey is going from bad to worse. Rises in commodity prices are creating despair among many citizens, who no longer have anything to eat.

Characteristic of the instability in the Turkish economy is that in the last three years that Turkey has spent in the presidential system, the governor of the central bank has changed 4 times, while in 13 months three different persons have taken over as finance ministers.

There are particular complaints from the people, with the price increases reaching the limits of madness.

"People are dying of hunger. Erdogan to take to the streets to see the situation of the people. "People are hungry", says a desperate Turkish citizen, according to information from SKAI.

Then a cheese seller, disappointed, says that "people used to come here to buy cheap, now it does not make sense".

Rising prices and inflation

Specifically, the price of the bun increased by 40%, ie it reached 3,5 pounds from 2,5 while there are reports from buns that customers went and asked for half a bun!

There was also a 46% price increase for milk and the cost of an egg from one pound went to two.

The increase is huge, with inflation expected to reach up to 60% of price increases.
