An anesthesiologist from Russia has been jailed for raping a patient while recovering from breast augmentation surgery.
The 60-year-old Dr. Yury Chernikov, offered his victim a piece of chocolate and a pill the next day, after his violent sexual assault.
The victim, 33-year-old Erika Bykova, publicly complained to the 60-year-old doctor, who claimed that the sex with her was consensual and that she herself stressed that at the time of her rape she could not even speak.
Dr. Chernikov was jailed for three years and two months, with a reduced sentence after paying € 12.000 bail.
"I was in my room and he came to examine me, but his examination was not that of a doctor. Then he reached out and raped me. " said the 33-year-old.
"I was helpless. My eyelids may have been very heavy and I could not open them completely, but I understood everything. I tried to remove him with my feet, but I could not. "
