An American Track train derailed in Washington with reports of numerous casualties.
The train was coming from Tachoma and derailed in Dupont, Pierce.
The local police chief said there were "injuries and casualties" and that the numbers would be known soon.
The local channel KIRO 7 conveyed that this is an "incident with massive losses".
The derailment took place at rush hour in the morning, resulting in the closure of the highway. Drivers are advised to avoid this route.
Pictures show the train falling from a bridge on the highway.
So far the number of losses has not been clarified, while from the pictures it seems that the damage is huge.
