Erdogan: "I spoke with Putin and Trump, the work does not end in Afrin"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that "there is no retreat" and signaling that he would proceed with the operation in Manbij, Syria. 

Speaking at his party's provincial assembly, Tayyip Erdogan said: "The work will not end with Afrin. Then there is Idlib, there is Menbic. May the people continue until they appear here ".

The Turkish President said that for 40 years the PKK has not sat quietly. "We have always been patient but also the patience up to a point. The point we have reached now is clear. Now we have to set their limits. "We will go to your caves," we said and went into their caves, "he said.

Tayyip Erdogan said they had been taught their lesson and that 3700 members of the Syrian Kurdish Fighters (YPG) had been killed so far. "We are not obliged to be friends with everyone, but when our interests go hand in hand, then we become allies with everyone," said the Turkish President.
