France: Three people arrested in connection with the August 2017 attack in Barcelona

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior announced today the arrest in France of three people for their relationship with Dries O'Campire, a suspected member of the nucleus that in August 2017 carried out the attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils in Catalonia.

The three men were arrested in the counties of Gard (south) and Tarn (southwest) during an operation carried out jointly with the French police and also led to investigations, the Spanish ministry said in a statement.

Driss Ukambir is accused of being a member of a terrorist organization as well as murder for his role in the van attack that claimed the lives of 14 people on August 17, 2017 in Barcelona.
