A bus carrying rugby fans returning from the Top 14 Castres-Racing 92 semifinals near Lyon overturned on Saturday night on the A7 motorway in the French department of Drome, killing three and injuring eight, according to local authorities.
The accident happened a few kilometers north of Valence. The victims were supporters of the rugby team Beaucaire in the Gard, who had traveled to watch the match, according to the same source. Six more people were slightly injured.
