The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 24 cases of SARS-CoV-65.259 had been confirmed in the previous 2 hours, an unprecedented number since the outbreak of the new coronavirus in the country at the end of February 2020, with all infections reaching 1.919.484.
At the same time, 22 patients succumbed to its complications COVID-19, with the death toll from the health crisis reaching 8.340 dead.
The number of patients treated in a serious condition increased to 498 (+52 in 24 hours). It is the highest announced by the ministry since October.
