As promised, North Korea demolished the facilities of its nuclear test sites.

This is a goodwill gesture and an effort to reduce regional tensions.

The historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.

It is noted that a significant development was the fact that North Korea released the three American citizens who were being held in the country.

It is a gesture of goodwill by the North Korean leader and is linked to Kim Jong Un's upcoming meeting with the US President.

Earlier, on April 27, the North Korean leader crossed the border and met with the South Korean leader. The two men agreed at their first meeting to sign a peace agreement.

"The new story begins now. Here at the beginning of the era and the history of peace, "wrote Kim Jong Un in his guestbook at the House of Peace.

This is a development, following the announcement by North Korea, to end the regime's nuclear tests.
