Death toll in central China's Hubei province due to coronavirus pneumonia COVID-19 rose 242 to 1.310 on Wednesday, the provincial health committee said.
Another 14.849 new confirmed cases of the epidemic have been identified in Hubei, the epicenter of the epidemic, increasing the total number of cases in the province to 48.206, according to the same source.
The committee clarified that it has started counting cases that are diagnosed with new clinical methods from today, Thursday.
