Two dead and one injured is the toll of the armed attack launched by an unknown assailant in the Swiss city of Sion.
The authorities have been alerted, while a huge manhunt is underway to locate the perpetrator.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the attack. According to Swiss media reports, the attacker fired several shots at people in two different parts of the city, located in the southern part of Switzerland.
The attack took place shortly before 8 in the morning, when the assailant, who has not yet been identified, proceeded to attack with shots for an as yet unknown reason.
The police of Valais canton mobilized immediately to arrest the perpetrator, who, based on the first findings, knew his victims.
At the same time, the prosecutor's office opened an investigation for murder, as an accessory to manslaughter.
