Terror on a British Airways flight to Larnaca.

Due to a technical failure, the pressure in the cabin increased before take-off, resulting in severe pain in the ears and head of the passengers.

In fact, according to a passenger, a man lost consciousness.

Passenger

Everyone was in pain and one man fainted. We heard a sound and suddenly the air pressure rose too sharply. I'm thankful that this did not happen while we were on the air. It would be a complete disaster.

The aircraft, according to the announcement of the airline, returned to the parking lot where the damage was repaired.

Our highly experienced staff is trained to deal with such incidents and the cabin crew reassured the passengers and cared for them after minor technical failure before the aircraft took off.

After the repair, the flight from Heathrow to Larnaca Airport was normal.
