No one expected that during a routine flight, passengers from Taipei to Bangkok would have genitals.

The pilot of the plane Jakarin Sararnrakskul left the cockpit to help deliver the baby on air when he was informed that a woman was giving birth.

"The baby was born in the air," said the pilot Sararnrakskul, who left his job for a while to assist in the birth of a baby, as the American newspaper New York Post writes.

Pilot Sararnrakskul is a father of one with 18 years of experience in the airwaves.

The plane, owned by VietJet Airlines, was departing from Taipei, Taiwan, bound for Bangkok, Thailand, when the extraordinary event occurred.

When Sararnrakskul, who was informed that a passenger was about to give birth to her baby in one of the plane's toilets, took off his belt and, according to the Viral Press agency, assumed the role of an obstetrician.

But first he left the co-pilot of the plane in his place. Sararnrakskul rushed to the expectant mother and found that she was giving birth by the hour.

For the pilot Sararnrakskul, as he emphasized to the agency, it was the first time he helped to bring a baby into the world.

Paramedics were waiting for the plane when it landed in Bangkok, Thailand to provide first aid to the mother and newborn.

However, both mother and son, as reported by the local media, are in good health.

The pilot couldn't stop laughing with joy claiming that now he will be able to tell everyone about his brave act.

As reported by the American newspaper New York Post, the baby was named "Sky" (sky) in honor of his unexpected birth in flight.
