The 50-year-old initially claimed that he did not remember and that… he was wrong, confusing the daughter with his wife
A case unique to the country and rare on a larger scale is handled by the police in Denmark. The protagonist of this tragic and sad story is a father who raped his daughter the day she got married.
In his apology to the police, he claimed that he confused his daughter with his wife, a fact that is not supported by the facts. The incredible story took place in August, in an area outside the town of Kolding in southern Denmark. The 20-year-old girl was lying in her bed after the wedding ceremony, when her 50-year-old father entered the room and sexually abused her.
According to information, the father and the daughter had broken off their relationship for a long time. Shortly before the wedding, however, they found each other again and the father normally received his invitation to the ceremony.
During the reception, the 20-year-old had consumed a large amount of alcohol and her behavior began to get out of control. Then, her relatives took her to the wedding room, in order to calm down.
A little while later, the 50-year-old father went to the room and lay down on the bed, while his wife was sleeping in the same bed, but on the other side, having also consumed a large amount of alcohol.
At today 's trial, the accused claimed that he did not remember anything. The prosecutor, however, based on his investigation, analyzed the information at his disposal, saying that between 4 in the morning and 4:45, the father grabbed his daughter's chest and opened it with violence legs. She told him to stop and pushed him. Then the 50-year-old father pushed her even harder, while she called him to leave her.
The father, after first claiming that he did not remember anything, then said that he was confused and that he passed it on to his wife. The dialogue between them is shocking:
- "Your claim can not be accepted by me. I politely asked you to leave me, but you kept going. I shouted, but you kept going. "I hit you, you continued," said the 20-year-old daughter.
-"I'm sorry. It was a mistake. I'm sorry. I thought she was my wife. Can we keep in touch? "I'm sorry," said the father.
The apology of the 50-year-old father did not convince the court, which found him guilty of rape, imposing a sentence of 2,5 years in prison.
