Poland: Five girls killed by fire in an escape room

Five teenagers lost their lives on Friday night (4/1) in Poland in a fire that broke out in an "escape room" in Kostalyn, in the northern part of the country. The announcement was made by the Polish Ministry of the Interior, while as it became known, another person suffered serious burns and was transported in critical condition to the hospital.

"The victims of this tragedy are 15-year-old children, young girls celebrating a birthday," Minister Joachim Brunjinski told TVN24.

The causes of the fire remain unknown so far. The Ministry of the Interior pointed out that it had ordered the fire brigade to control the fire protection measures in all "escape rooms" in Poland, the number of which is estimated at about 1000.
