Multi-fatal attack in Norway - Executions with a bow and arrow - "The lone wolf" the perpetrator

According to information transmitted by local media, the perpetrator started the attack inside the Coop Extra supermarket and continued inside the city. According to TV2, the man also carried a knife and other weapons.

Police Chief Evid Aas said "many people have died and many have been injured", without giving the exact number of victims. However, he referred to several places where crime was committed, noting that a large area has been cordoned off and residents have been ordered to stay in their homes.

The injured were taken to hospital, but there is no information about their condition.

Authorities believe the perpetrator was a "lone wolf" and acted alone, noting that they consider the incident very serious.

According to information from local media, an eyewitness saw the perpetrator running with the police following him and that shots were heard. He also saw a woman injured on the ground shouting for help.
