A Spanish judge has ruled that ousted Catalan Vice President Oriol Zunkeras, former Catalan government minister Joaquim Forn and two leaders of the ANC and Omnium Cultural NGOs, who are facing charges of separatist activity, have been remanded in custody.
A bail of 100.000 euros has been set for six other former members of the regional government of Catalonia, who are being held as part of an investigation into their participation in the illegal declaration of independence of Catalonia on October 27 by the then regional government.
Zunkeras and Forn and ANC leaders Jordi Sanchez and Omnium Cultural Jordi Kusart will remain in custody because of a "risk of recurrence", according to a court statement.
