Iranian President Hassan Rohani has warned US President Donald Trump about pursuing a hostile policy toward Tehran.
Earlier in the year, Trump withdrew the United States from an international agreement aimed at preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons and ordered increased US sanctions.
Addressing Donald Trump, Hassan Rohani said:
"Do not play with the lion's tail because you will regret it."
He also said that peace between Iran and the United States is still possible, adding that:
"America must understand that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars."
