Two people were killed - including the perpetrator - and three others were injured in a shooting at a college in the eastern Russian city of Blagoveshchensk, according to local authorities.
According to the Amur district directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry, a young man notified the authorities about the incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, police located a young man holding a gun.
The man asked the police to open fire, with the authorities leading him to a room, thus allowing the evacuation of the college by students and teachers.
The perpetrator then committed suicide, according to local authorities, who estimate - based on preliminary evidence - that before the shootings, there was a dispute between classmates.
The perpetrator is said to be a 19-year-old college student, who acted alone.
In addition to the perpetrator, another 19-year-old died, while the injured are 17, 19 and 20 years old. One of the injured is being treated in critical condition.
