Brazilian authorities are facing a horrific murder case. A 35-year-old confessed that he killed his pregnant partner as he did not want the child.
According to the police, 35-year-old Wando Cordeiro Vasconcelos even tried to hide his traces, initially claiming that his girlfriend was abducted.
The 35-year-old revealed to the embarrassed police that he had thrown the body of his girlfriend, Maria Efigenia Soares, in a forest after first burning it.
The unfortunate girl, who was a physiotherapy student, disappeared when she went to the supermarket. Her mother, who was unaware of her daughter's relationship, was the first to point to the 35-year-old as the perpetrator, saying she did not want the child.
According to her, the 35-year-old went so far as to send a message to the girl's father, telling him that he had been abducted when he began to worry about his child.
Local reports even report that the 35-year-old killer tried to get money from his victim's family.
