According to the first information, at least eight people were injured, while the Swedish police are examining the scenario of a terrorist attack.
According to the Swedish newspaper "Svenska Dagbladet", the incident was initially investigated as an assassination attempt by the local police, but later sounded the alarm for a terrorist attack.
The suspect in the attack, aged around 20, was allegedly shot by police officers who rushed to the scene and was taken to hospital injured. The severity of his condition, however, has not been clarified, according to "Expressen".
