London is again on alert due to the ongoing knife attacks on civilians.
Yesterday, in about 12 hours, three people were added to the list of the dead. One of them was found fatally injured near Harrods, in the luxurious area of Knightsbridge. The victim was found unconscious shortly after midnight, while the police went to the spot after reports of a knife attack. Despite the efforts, the man could not be kept alive and a little later, his death was confirmed.

Due to the incident, the police closed the access to a pedestrian street next to the luxury department store. The Haronds announced that they are open, except for some entrances that have been blocked.
Almost simultaneously, another victim was in Debford, south-east London.

Earlier in the day, another 22-year-old man was attacked in Hackney, east London, with police arresting four people on suspicion of murder. Among them a 14-year-old, two 26-year-olds and a 23-year-old.
According to the data, in 2019, 137 homicides were recorded in London, with the number being increased compared to 2018.
