Specifically, during 2017, 259 thousand videos and images of child abuse were removed from the World Wide Web. Their removal was due to the immediate intervention of 48 open Complaints Lines, which operate in 43 countries around the world.

The first place in the list from where the material came from is held by America and the Netherlands, while the third place is occupied by Russia.

First on the EU blacklist is the Netherlands

The European organization "Inhope", in cooperation with international organizations such as Interpol and Europol, contributes actively to the detection of large circuits of child abuse. According to the Agency, illegal material was detected in 70 countries around the world.

In Europe, the Netherlands is first on the black list with 51%, followed by France, Sweden, Romania and Bulgaria.
