Three Turkish soldiers were killed in Afrin, Syria, when, according to the online version of the Hurriyet, an improvised explosive device exploded.
The announcement was made by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Gildirim.
In the previous days, the YPG Kurds had warned that they would not give up despite the occupation of the area by the Turkish army.
