A one-minute video shows a woman dressed in a white blouse and pink pants standing outside the exit of the plane in front of astonished eyewitnesses at Kiev's Boryspil International Airport before the crew forced her to return to her seat.
The aircraft had arrived at its destination but due to a technical problem remained on hold.
The passenger, whose details have not been made public, was traveling to the Ukrainian capital from Antalya, Turkey with her husband and children.
Someone heard her say that she was overheating and that she needed to calm down.
After her unauthorized ride on the wing of the Boeing 737, the woman is no longer allowed to travel with any flight of Ukrainian Airlines.
According to the airline, both airport security and police closely monitored the incident along with doctors who confirmed that the woman "was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs".

The company criticized the passenger in its announcement for inappropriate behavior, emphasizing the fact that it is possible that a significant fine will be imposed on it.
