Nine dismembered bodies were found in an apartment in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. In fact, two of them were beheaded.
Authorities have announced the arrest of a 27-year-old man, although it has not yet been clarified how he is related to the case.
The case came to light as authorities were investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old. Police located her in CCTV footage walking with the 27-year-old detainee and reaching the apartment.
According to the news agency Jiji, police found, among other things, two severed heads inside portable refrigerators that one uses to have a picnic inside the apartment.
All scenarios are now being considered, as noted by Japanese media.
