In the last 19 hours, the Police proceeded with 24 complaints of citizens and three premises as part of the controls for the implementation of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
As a representative of the communication department of the Police stated to KYPE, during the last 24 hours, a total of 2.543 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
Specifically, in Nicosia 1.107 inspections were carried out and 3 citizens and two premises were reported,
in Limassol 192 inspections were carried out with 8 complaints from citizens,
in Larnaca 435 inspections without any complaint,
in Paphos a citizen and a property manager were reported after 167 checks,
in Famagusta 331 checks were carried out and 7 citizens were reported
while in the area of Morphou 154 inspections were carried out without any complaints.
The Traffic Departments and the Port and Maritime Police carried out 122 and 35 checks, respectively, without any complaints.
