The Police proceeded with complaints from 23 citizens in the last 24 hours, after 2.857 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infectious Diseases.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, in Nicosia 1.055 inspections were carried out, out of which 2 citizens 'complaints emerged, while in Limassol 218 inspections were carried out, out of which 10 citizens' complaints emerged.
In Larnaca 614 inspections were carried out with 4 complaints, in Paphos 179 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 3 complaints from citizens, in Famagusta 414 inspections were carried out and there were 4 complaints from citizens, while in the area of Morphou 197 inspections were carried out without complaint.
Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 156 inspections, without any complaint.
Finally, the Port Police carried out 23 checks without a complaint.
