The crime report of the year is coming to an end. The team of criminal investigators appointed to investigate the case of the serial murders of foreign women and children is in the final phase of its investigation.
Everything indicates that the investigation will be completed and will be given to the president of the Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints against the Police, Antonis Paschalidis, until next Friday, November 15th.
"We are on hold"
Speaking to Newsbomb, the president of the Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints against the Police, Antonis Paschalidis, stated that "we are waiting for what will happen. The last information we had is that everything is going according to plan and there will be no delay ". However, Mr. Paschalidis left a "window" if further deposits arise in the course of a few days extension.
The initial finding would be completed by the end of August, but the Commission was extended for another three months. If the investigation reveals responsibilities, they will be attributed regardless of the level of the person in charge.
The conclusion of the investigators will be submitted to the Authority, which after studying it will send it, together with its own suggestions, to the Attorney General for a decision.
