The President of the Republic and the Turkish Cypriot leader will have a meeting at the UN reception tonight at 7 p.m.
The reception takes place at the invitation of the new Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Cyprus, Colin Stewart at the Ledra Palace Hotel in the dead zone.
Mr Stewart had his first separate meeting with the two leaders last Friday. He noted that this is an informal reception, "an informal social event without an agenda".
Mr Stewart had expressed the hope that "it will be another opportunity to get to know the leaders better, to allow them to have some more time together and I hope we have a good start".
Due to the pandemic, the reception will include a limited number of attendees. Present will be the e / k negotiator, Andreas Mavrogiannis and the special representative of the T / c leader, Ergun Olgun, while the co-chairs of the Technical Committees from both sides also received an invitation.
