The Ministry of Health informs the consumer public that the Health Services of the Ministry have received relevant information, through the Early Warning System for Food and Feed (RASFF), according to which, in the food mentioned below, after a laboratory test in Finland, was found to contain the illicit pesticide "Chlorpyriphos" in a concentration exceeding the permissible limits set by European legislation:

The Health Services of the Ministry of Health have already informed the food company that distributes the product in question in the Cypriot market, with instructions for immediate recall / withdrawal of the entire quantity of the specific batches.

However, because some of these batches of food may already be in the possession of consumers, they are urged to avoid consuming it and return it to the places where they bought it.
