The Police proceeded with complaints from 20 citizens and 16 premises in a total of 2.152 checks, from 6 am on Sunday morning until 6 am on Monday morning.
Specifically, according to the Police, from 583 checks in Nicosia 9 citizens and 9 premises were reported. In Limassol 5 citizens and 4 premises were reported in a total of 149 inspections, in Famagusta 4 citizens from 420 checks. In Larnaca There were 2 complaints from citizens and 1 property, from 468 inspections, in Paphos 2 premises were reported from 249 inspections, while in Morphou no complaints were reported from the 149 audits carried out.
The violations concerned non-possession of a valid safepass by patrons and managers or employees of premises. One complaint concerned a category for a larger number of customers than allowed, while another category concerned a dance on a property.
In addition, 5 complaints were made at the airport, for arrival without a 24-hour rapid test.
The fines ranged from € 500 to € 1500.
Another 134 checks were made by Traffic police and 57 of Coast Guard, without complaints.
