The Ministry of the Interior informs that basic information about the plans and measures recently announced in the context of the new unified housing policy has been posted on its website. Information about the Plans/measures is available in the "New Housing Policy" Section.
It is noted that more detailed Guides and the start dates of each Plan/measure will follow in the near future.
It is recalled that the new housing policy announced by the Government has a social character and aims to alleviate the housing problem through the implementation of short-term and medium-term Plans and measures, with an implementation time horizon of five years. The unified housing policy focuses on two central axes: firstly, on the utilization of the existing inactive housing stock and the production of new ones and, then, on making them available on the market at an affordable price, thus offering options to all citizens, regardless of their socio-economic status data.
