The Police arrested 15 people, who were illegally residing in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, yesterday, during a coordinated operation, which took place in Nicosia.
The operation took place yesterday morning and members of the Foreigners and Immigration Service of the Police Headquarters participated in it. During the operation, searches were carried out in various premises in Nicosia, while a total of 45 foreigners were identified and checked.
Fifteen of the above persons were found to be residing illegally in Cyprus. Therefore, they were arrested and taken into custody, for the start of their deportation process.
