The President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis has convened a meeting of the negotiating team on August 31 and the National Council on September 1, in order to provide information on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue, as well as the response / proposal submitted to Mr. Tatar, states a written statement by Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos.
"At the same time and in order to avoid unnecessary controversy, the President of the Republic calls on the political forces to refrain from making any statements before being fully informed of what exactly this answer / proposal contains," the statement said.
