The 42-year-old man who attacked police officers is brought to justice

He was in a state of intoxication and caused damage to a brewery

The trial of the 20-year-old for the case of causing anxiety under the influence of drunkenness, insult and attack against police officers begins on October 42. According to the Police, he was charged today in writing and was released to be summoned on October 20 before justice.

According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos and Spokesperson of the Paphos Police Directorate, Michalis Ioannou, information was received by the Police that there is a person in a bar who was drunk and was causing concern. Members of the Paphos police department went to the place, located the person in charge of the premises who pointed out the person who was causing the concern. The members of the Police found that the above person had strong symptoms of intoxication.

When asked to follow them, he allegedly grabbed a chair and threw it at a police officer. He was subsequently arrested for the spontaneous offenses of drunkenness, harassment and assault on police officers. He was then taken to the Paphos Central Police Station, where during his transfer to the Offices of the Minor Offenses Department of the Paphos Police Department, he allegedly attacked the same police officer again.

As further examination revealed, this is a tourist, 42 years old. The owner of the premises also went to the Minor Offenses Department and he also filed a complaint against the 42-year-old for insulting and threatening, when he refused to serve him because he was drunk. The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police.
